With the news that scented candles could be bad for your health, Becky Pugh and Nick Collins debate their merits. By Becky Pugh and Nick Collins Heaven scent: sales of scented candles have increased threefold over the last three years LOVE THEM – By Becky Pugh I long ago did away with Diet Coke, I don’t mind giving up processed ham and smoking is clearly for fools. But the one pleasure I refuse to surrender – whether or not there is truth in the reports that it carries a risk of cancer – is my love of scented candles.

Last season’s One Tree Hill finale sent long star-crossed Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) off into the sunset after finally getting hitched…and this summer we found out they wouldn’t be coming back. Ever. Meanwhile, Brooke (Sophia Bush) seemed to finally find true love with Julian (Austin Nichols) and Nathan (James Lafferty) made the NBA. Which left us wondering: Where the heck do things go from here? Creator-exec producer Mark Schwahn gave us a preview of the new season, which starts Sept.

As school-age children enjoy their last days of summer break, Walt Disney World Cast Members have been gearing up for the upcoming school year by shopping for new supplies for deserving Central Florida students. © Copyright Disney Kids don’t like to be different or feel left out. I’ve always been fortunate enough to buy school supplies for my own child but I think about the kids who don’t have those advantages. It’s a great feeling knowing I can help them start the school year with the classroom essentials.

For Tisha Campbell-Martin being pregnant again for the second time is something to be aware, since she is not young again. She was enjoying a French Cirque du Bebe -themed shower (that she said felt more like “a family barbeque”) at her manager’s home and shares about her pregnancy and motherhood. She was concern a lot about the baby safety, since at the first few months, she was bleeding, she says, “When you’re 40 things are a lot different, so I know I have some work ahead of me, but I also know this is the last time for me.

I’ve actually been working on this one for a while; a rather different process than my usual throw-something-snarky-out-there-in-5-minutes style. Jason shamed me into posting it Many times during the debate between atheists and christians, the christians often throw out the trope that we atheists just haven’t read the bible enough or been taught the “right” thing about Jesus, despite the fact that a large number of atheists are converts from religions that otherwise produce “true believers”.

Hey All,Dani and I are super excited to add another child to our family. This time around this little boy is not growing inside Dani’s belly. We have a birth mom who loves him so much too. We will be adopting him and we are expecting him ANY day now. As of writing this our lovely birth mom is between 4-5 cm … fully effaced and having contractions. No water breakage though. We have had two false alarms at the hospital in the last week but nothing yet so they have sent us home. There is progress but it is slow.

by Mark Cartis Cricut cutting machines use cartridges to create the cutouts and Beyond Birthdays is a shape cartridge. Crafters can also use cartridges that have fonts, solutions, licensed and classmates. Cartridges tend to have themes like birthdays or be focused on an event like Mother’s Day. However Beyond Birthdays is not like this as the cartridge goes beyond just one theme and covers a large variety of them. This makes it great as a general use all year round cartridge.

[This is from Rev. Phil Holsinger, President/CEO of the Blue Ridge Women's Center in Roanoke, VA. If you are not an active supporter of your local Women's Center, I would encourage to learn more about what you can do to support those on the front lines of the fight for life - ALL life.]In a recent discussion with one of our staff members, I was reminded that we do more than just save babies here at Blue Ridge Women’s Center.

HA Note: “The 2009 presidential inauguration dinner was an historic event, and the celebrated guest with Hawai’i ties did not disappoint. He shook hands, posed for cell-phone pictures and signed autographs. He did everything but eat. That has been the familiar formula for Colt Brennan: Feed the fans’ fever, starve Colt.” About how Colt is so busy accommodating the fans that he doesn’t have time for himself, Chandra Kinilau (who coordinated Colt’s off-field activities in 2007) said: “He’s always

A two hyphenate headline The Vzzzt-Bot family got up crack of dawn yesterday morning, dressed in haste and hit the road by 6:30 am to drive to the orthopedist’s clinic for an 8:00 am appointment. Looong school zone slow down about a third of the way there. Then traffic backed up at least one mile to make the turn on to Hwy 96. No accident, just normal rush hour for that part of Middle Tennessee. The left turn off Hwy 96 to I don’t recall the name of the street or avenue narrowed from two lanes turning left to one lane without warning – road or utilities work.

Former child star Mark Lester took his paternity claim over the daughter of Michael Jackson to the Today show this morning. He told Matt Lauer that he has “no idea” if he is Paris Jackson’s biological father, but that it is a possibility. He says Jackson “wanted kids but was anxious about sex,” adding the singer was “shy when it came to women.” Additionally, he says “Michael confided in me that he found it very difficult to do the sexual act.” Lester defends his decision to come forward because “the story was going to break in any event,” and he wanted to tell the story on his terms to spare the shock to his family.

I love it when we get reader tip offs – always a treat. Sophie sent us an email a couple of weeks ago pointing us in the direction of Freya Art on Etsy. I am loving this shop packed full of prints which are all bang on trend with their messages of hope and love. I am drawn to these Personalised Birth Gift Fine Art Prints which are customised to include your child’s name and date of birth. I think they make a really cute gift and won’t be grown out of in a hurry.

I believe there is a lot of confusion about these terms used in home/unschooling, in regard to the right-brained learner, and in the autism community. I thought I might be able to shed some light on the differences based on my experiences with my various children. I think Alex, age 14, can serve to illustrate the difference between all three to start us off. Alex was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) when he was 2 years old. He has two older brothers diagnosed as well. One of

This morning at seven I got off work and raced over to Wal-Mart to get a few things before the kids went to school. Right after you walk into the store there is a bench next to the McDonald’s entrance. On that bench this morning there was an elderly man sitting alone. I smiled at him and said, “Aren’t you in the wrong place?” He smiled back and said, “I’m just waiting on my wife.” Normally, I wouldn’t ask a stranger a question like that, but this man was wearing a hat and shirt that said Super Saver on them.
